FossMail Electronic Mail System

FossMail is a reliable, high-speed, easy-to-use mailing system. FossMail can be used for corporate mail, serving both for office mail and as a reliable and quick delivery system for different technical information produced by automated workplaces and processes. FossMail is easily integrated with other mailing systems, particularly E-Mail (Internet), enabling you to set different access modes for clients to external and corporate correspondence.

File transfer is done with the help of scripts included in FossMail package. Using these scripts you can create messages containing pre-cataloged files, prioritize messages, unpack files from messages into specific catalogs, order and process delivery and unpacking notification messages, etc. For companies developing applications, which require information exchange, the envelope-processing library may be useful. This library enables you to create and process FossMail postal envelopes directly from the application programs. Having created the message you do not have to worry about its routing inside the system: you only have to give the correct address, and the mail service will deliver it. Thus, using the FossMail email service you can set up file exchange similar to that used under TCPFOSS, but on a higher level.

In addition, you get office corporate mail, where client spots will be occupied by well-known mail clients that use SMTP/POP3, for example, Outlook Express, Netscape, The Bat. For all the services provided by FossMail (such as address books, resending messages between the client and the mail server, message compressing before sending) FossClient or Microsoft outlook are used.
